This moose angel is actually from the winter before last (2007-08).
Unfortunately, I was right up on it with the tractor before I knew what it was, and I’d all ready run over half of it. If you look carefully, you can see that the moose was lying down, head to the right. You can also see that it was a male moose, because of the very light antler print in the snow. I had no idea that moose lie down on their sides like this. Wild, isn’t it?
